The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) has issued a Tax Tip confirming that the filing deadline for individual income tax returns filed for the 2018 tax year by self-employed individuals and their spouses is Monday June 17, 2019.

The usual filing deadline for such returns is June 15. However, as that date falls on a Saturday this year, the CRA will consider that taxpayers have filed their returns on time if they are received by the CRA, or are postmarked, no later than June 17, 2019.
